Simon Bailey is a Professor of Neuro –Oncology and consultant paediatric oncologist and Head of the Paediatric Oncology Department based at the Great North Children's Hospital and University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. His research interests include molecular diagnostics for improving treatment individualisation in childhood brain tumours patients. His work focuses on Medulloblastoma and Diffuse Pontine Gliomas. In addition, he develops protocols for the resource challenged countries.
